Joshua Lee Wright started playing and got his first electric guitar when he was 16, and had a fascination with the sounds and effects it can make. From an early age he was listening to many of the great blues/rock musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton because that was the music he was brought up on. Then when he started getting into guitar these artist became major influences in his style and guitar playing skills. He studied a Bachelor of Music at university which greatly expanded his knowledge for music. With his skills of guitar growing he then wanted to be challenged with something new, so he started on vocals. Now with vocals, guitar and his many different effects pedals 'Joshua Lee Wright' with his rhythm and blues sound can also create the effects of a complete orchestra using his new guitar setup.
