JT and The Sargeant’s debut album features laid-back, soulful music and songs about life's ups and downs, the smiles and the frowns: falling in and out of love, losing a father, finding your way and above all the inextricable tie of family. Joel has written these songs over the past ten years, some while travelling in Europe and some after his Dad passed away. It wasn’t always his intention to put together a CD – but after an encounter with Marco at a house party who has a home-recording studio, the idea of recording a demo was hatched which has now evolved into 'Pen to Paper' and so JT and the Sargeants was born........
