Bio

Dreamy folk and alt-country meets nostalgia, warmth, and deep green emotions.

Born in Los Angeles to two classical musician parents, Juliet grew up playing the cello and in and out of school choirs. Always singing, mostly to herself — when her family relocated to their native Australia in 2005, Juliet began writing her own music. In 2012, at the age of 15, she opened up for Nina Nesbitt's London show of her UK 'The Apple Tree' tour. In high school, she was shortlisted for the internationally acclaimed Vanda & Young songwriting competition with her song ‘Barrier’.

Previously Juliet Mary, she collaborated with Ed Hawke to form Melbourne-based band San Antone in 2016, who helped produce, mix, record and play on her debut EP ‘Salt of the Earth’ released in December 2019. Juliet currently resides in Melbourne, Australia after living in Nashville, Tennessee for the past three years. She's dreaming up her next record, and all the ways in which she can be vulnerable and playful through her art.

Juliet's resonant voice couldn't have pierced me any cleaner if it came armed with a sniper rifle firing harpoons. Stunner.

Life before this song was irrelevant, and as a gentle snowflake, this tune is precious and perfect in a way that makes you fear the moment it ceases to exist. Juliet Sunflower is a genius, her voice reminds me of Aurora, and Little May combined aloof yet, powerful.

ummmm ok, wow! It sounds like the most beautiful river flowing through the most beautiful forest. Is that cheesy? Sorry, not sorry.
