Bio
JunoKind is the electronic rebirth of Perth indie-soul duo Jade Richards and George Gunson; the artists formerly known as Wanderlust. Taking influences from the likes of Bonobo, Matt Corby, The XX and Tom Misch, JunoKind is a brand new creative direction for the talented duo. Their distinctive dark percussion rhythms endure, but an electronic pop injection ads new depth and maturity to their sound. After spending 3 months in 2015 touring Europe with their debut 5-track EP ‘Dark House Day’, Jade and George have spent most of 2016 locked away in George’s bedroom studio as well as Debaser Studios. The duo brought in their close friends and talented troubadours, Brad Green of These Winter Nights, and Michael Anstee-Brook of Wise Oaks, to begin experimenting and recording a new EP under JunoKind. The record has been produced and engineered by WAM Award nominee producer Andy Lawson who has worked with some of Perth’s finest acts including End Of Fashion, Eskimo Joe, Gyroscope, Sugar Army and newcomers Tired Lion. The result is a haunting mix of husky vocals, electric pop harmonies and rhythmic percussion. After four years of playing shows across WA, including supporting international and national artists such as Ben Lee, Morgan Bain, Matt Gresham and Vance Joy’s After Party, Jade and George have gained a loyal local following. The ease at which they share the stage and their intimate story-telling invites audiences into their world at every show they play. "It's music like you've never heard from us before, but I can assure you we've poured our hearts and souls into it. It's basically, exactly, precisely the music that we want to be creating in this plane of existence and we are over the moon that we get to share it with such a faithful crew of music lovers." - George Gunson.

ooo what is that beautiful sounding language in the middle? French maybe. I really dig what's happening here. This encapsulates this pure sense of honesty and you've delivered it really well.
