Artist:Jye Sharp

Jye Sharp is a 25 year old singer/songwriter, multi instrumentalist, one man band musician from the Central Coast of NSW, Aus. Since he self taught at the age of 4, Jye fell in love with guitar and music, before teaching himself a range of other instruments including drums, harmonica, slide guitar, didgeridoo, piano and singing. Jye has been gigging and busking since the age of 16 and by doing so it has seen him up and down the coast of Australia playing at festivals, pubs, clubs, theaters and being the support act for the names of Xavier Rudd, Diesel, Mental As Anything, The Sea Gypsies, Dean Ray etc, just to name a few. Jye's live shows consist of him singing, playing acoustic guitar/slide guitar, looping, foot stomping and playing the harmonica all with gusto. Jye has released two independent EP's and is currently recording his debut album, which you can hear the lead single 'Mind', right hear on triple j unearthed.
