Kastiell is a 5 piece post-hardcore band from Perth, Western Australia, embodying a variety of musical influences to generate a unique combination of melodic vocals, technical riff progressions and heavy breakdowns, that pays homage to mid-late 2000s-era post-hardcore. The band was founded in 2010, when guitarists Beau Chapman and Brett Dunn campaigned to put together a high energy, melodic rock band. The results were the recruitment of Dylan Symonds (formerly Avastera), Leonard ‘Duff’ Cataytay (When Autumn Falls) and David McCormick (Cameo Thieves).
