Formed in Darwin Australia 2015, on the tail end of the two member's (James Rooney and Rik Wright) previous project 'Indica Sunrise', Kayoss's musical style has been described as; progressive, hard rock, sometimes pop, but who really knows? ​​ After the departure of Indica Sunrise, Rik and Rooney decided to wave goodbye to the old songs and reinvent themselves musically, by focusing on more energetic live performances based around the concept of chaos, as well as the band gaining the most off-the-bat and highly unpredictable drummer on the scene, Patrick Norman, the trio were ready to make some noise... ​​ In 2016 Kayoss released their first original album 'Everything Everywhere', an 11 track sonic experiment that is the groundwork for the band's ever changing sound, with songs like 'Corporate Love', 'Release' and the alien sounding 'Sandwich Song'.
