Artist:The Khyber Belt

From the ashes of four influential Australian heavy alternative rock bands comes The Khyber Belt. Founded by former Bushido guitarist Guy Shenfield, the band consists of a stellar line up, including Rook frontman Forbes McKail on lead vocal, Rook guitarist Tyson Fish on guitar, ex Sleep Parade bassist Jimmy Livesey on Bass and Bushido stick man Alex Dinic on drums. 2009 saw the demise of all members’ longtime bands with the exception of Sleep Parade. For some this sounded alarm bells amongst the scene, but for those who got word of what was brewing, a positive outlook towards what would eventuate was the only view possible. The band began to rehearse shenfield’s post Bushido demos in March 2010, and immediately the creative input of all involved saw the songs begin to take on new lives that differed from that of their demo versions.
