Bio

Kiara Jack & The Jills are an original world folk roots band hailing from the Gold Coast, Queensland. Their live performances echo the sounds of 'World' meets 'Contemporary' with a dash of rhythmic improvisation, making each show a unique journey in itself. At the centre of their sound is the eclectic-edged voice of Kiara Jack, which delivers vivid storytelling into the passionate sound of experimental instrumental techniques. Their EP release Shards of Glass, shares their poetic justice for peace, infused with driving rhythmic folk, unusual chord progressions and dark piano riffs. Strangely intriguing and inviting..... Kiara Jack's previous material has been placed on compilations alongside the likes of Blue King Brown, Missy Higgins, Gurrumul Yunipingu, Grinspoon and Vanessa Amorosi. 'Shards Of Glass' available through JB Hi-Fi
