Bio

Egyptian-Australian artist Kid Pharaoh is here for revolution and evolution.

The Western-Sydney born artist’s versatile discography bobs and weaves through displays of emotional story-telling through sharp lyricism and soulful sampling, while still managing to incorporate face rattling 808s and even a splash of R&B. Unapologetic anthems including “Jesus Looks Like Me” are a testament to the unique voice Pharaoh provides, delivering a voice for an underrepresented Arabic community in Australian music. The self-production, directing and designing of nearly every aspect of content has seen him take matters into his own hands, building a self-proclaimed “New Dynasty” driven by vision.

Currently on Wollongong’s South Coast, his energetic yet thoughtful live shows are a display of enhanced showmanship, a quality that has led him to land festival spots at Yours & Owls and share the stage with American rapper Duckwrth, as well national favourites as Seth Sentry, Thundamentals & Citizen Kay.

With a vision that abandons all ideas of conformity and orthodoxy, Kid Pharaoh’s Dynasty is one that seeks to push artistic boundaries, and is a movement that will inevitably continue to grow.

You just go so damn hard and I'm here for it. You dropped one of the best records of the year and this track is a standout.
