Bio

Coming off a loaded 2015 opening for some of Australia's biggest Hip Hop acts such as Seth Sentry, Thundamentals, Citizen Kay & Dylan Joel, Kid Pharaoh's 2nd self-produced album 'New Dynasty' is the story of a new ruler rising up and taking reign of his own era, which sees him taking towards and displaying his Egyptian roots and embracing his rich Ancient history throughout the project, from channeling Arabic samples, portraying stories of his ancestors and the use of Arabic in the track-listing, all while mixing in a fusion of soul, funk & jazz influences within the project.

“If you haven’t heard the name Kid Pharaoh, that’s ok because there’s no doubt that in the future you’ll be hearing it a lot in the compering years.” - Tone Deaf Magazine

“Kid Pharaoh’s flow and unique style helps him stand out from the rest of the Australian Hip Hop scene with the refreshing feeling of originality and finesse.” - ozhiphop.com

“Kid displays a strengthened composure and a remarkable ability to blend new ideas with old school flavours.” - allaussiehiphop.com

Ayyyyye... The Kid comes through into the new year with that new flavour. The bounce is there and so is the substance. Shot!

A hugely uplifting, passionate protest song that shows you've really grown as a lyricist.
