Growing up in Perth, one may seem accustomed to typical ways of life. Having been born in the isolation capital of the world, one can develop and thrive as an underdog against national opinion. Yet, a lack of attention is still placed on the audience who set out to accomplish just that. Meet 16-year-old, Australian-Italian, Locklyn Carleo, known within the Perth music industry as KIDLOCK. Having been brought up in an unstable household, Locklyn performs with a chip on his shoulder generated through overcoming obstacles and battling to remain true to himself.
