Previously the two had collaborated in a project Black Vacation, but after Daniel moved to Berlin, they commenced collaborating via email to eventuate in Kids Cryptic. After living in a multitude of places, including Memphis, Tennessee for the majority of their high school years, the two have attempted to convey their collected influences into Kids Cryptic.
