Bio

Kieran Christopherson is a storyteller that gives honest accounts of his experience. The Frankston born 22-year-old has spent the last four years creating a repertoire of songs that leave him absolutely nothing to hide behind; simple, yet poetic acoustic pop/folk that have begun to build him a loyal fanbase across Melbourne. His (five-track) official debut release, The Undiscovered Country Calls are a collection of songs that sum up the last two years of his life, and explores themes of being far from those you love, of friendship, the rise and fall of relationships, coping with challenges and appreciation. 2010 was a big year - a sold out EP Launch, supports for some great Australian bands, and a top 5 spot on Nova Fm's National 'I'm With The Band' competition, 2011 is set to be filled with a lot of turning heads, and open ears for this young singer/songwriter.

Incredible song. You can feel so much heart in the vocals and at it's peak you get shivers. It takes a true artist, honest to himself and the story he tells in his song writing to bring out such a reaction from his listeners. There's a real relief in the songs chorus, letting the 'sun pull us into the night.' As if we can be lost, but still guided by the earth. Such a beauti...

I was lucky enough to see Kieran Christopherson play a show last week with Matt Corby and the dude killed it! His set was super original with some really fun and beautiful songs. Kieran also had such good energy through his show, between songs he had the crowd loosing it with laughter followed by being 100% involved in the songs he was singing! I'm now following him on Facebook to see him ...
