About
Power vocalist KIIT WATTS is a queer kombucha chuggin' social activist and multi-instrumentalist, delivering alternative electronic pop with integrity and laidback intensity. KIIT started writing, performing and managing blues/folk band The Blue Ruins in 2012. The trio toured Australia up until 2015, playing over 500 shows including; Byron Bay Blues Festival, Thredbo Blues Festival, Party in the Paddock and has opened for the likes of Josh Pyke, Lior and Kim Churchill. In late 2014, KIIT WATTS signed with Marshmallow Pavements Records with whom she released two singles under. ‘Goodbye’, released in June 2015 shot her into the ears of Triple J presenter Richard Kingsmill. After being premiered on his show, the guitar heavy, deep soul track went on to gain #4 on the AMRAP charts and hold the #1 position on the Triple J Unearthed charts for 3 weeks. ‘How Hard’, released in February 2016 grabbed Dom Alessio’s attention and the emotion driven anthem was premiered by Dom Alessio.
