Bio

Kim Ven is an Australian-born singer-songwriter, based in London. The songstress’ musical style is influenced by the great songwriters of the late 1960s and explores narratives of self-discovery and the impermanence of youth.

Ven entered the music scene in 2016 as a feature artist/top-liner, using this time to hone her singing and songwriting skills. In 2019 she released her debut single, I Hate It When You Lie which scored itself a spin on Triple J's Home and Hosed and Spotify's New Music Fridays and Front Left playlists.

Since relocating to London in early 2020, Ven has honed her style and is focused on releasing an array of new music.

It's got a mystery that draws you in, like a sexy femme fatale on the silver screen.

Love the acoustic layering and texture that holds on to your vocals so succinctly. There is a Del Ray country/pop dark goddess energy that I could drink up for days.

This feels like the perfect track for a tv series montage expounding the protagonists problematic and controlled relationship with a love interest while also demonstrating their drug habit. It's a two-for and it works.
