The Kindread Story... (so far) From the musical melting pot of the Sunshine Coast, Kindread come rising up with a fresh hybrid of sounds influenced by their surroundings, encompassing reggae, funk, dub and rock. The last three years have been busy for the quintet, having released debut album 'Free World' in 2010, and in 2011 releasing singles 'Good Vibes' and 'Idealize', all working with world class engineer Leon Zervos (Muse, Santana, INXS & more). Having toured the East Coast of Australia, and their first international tour to New Zealand in the early years of formation, and having released latest single 'Rise It Up', Kindread embarked on a three-week UK Tour in September and October of 2012. The band now have a new release, 'Ignite' - the second full-length album from Kindread. Three years in the making inbetween tours and life events, the new LP incorporates their trademark mix of funky good vibes with their darker, dubbier side.
