Bio

The notorious five-piece band ‘King Blue’ has blown up onto the Perth music scene, starting from early October 2020. Their unique tunes and high-spirited crowd engagement is enough to entice anyone up for a boogie. ‘King Blue’ has played alongside some of Perth’s most talented up and coming acts, such as Dear Sunday, Dice, Late 90s and Mitch Santiago.
Residing from the northern suburbs of Perth, the members of ‘King Blue’ met and formed the band through high school. Carrying their music from outside of the classroom and into an instrument strewn garage, the 5 members created the high- energy Indie Pop/Rock hybrid sound that they have become quite familiar for. Their blending and exploration of different genres make for an explosive musical performance.
After several months of playing back-to-back gigs and getting their name out into the Perth music scene, the band eventually recorded their first single, ‘Games’ with Sam Ford of Tone City Recording. The upbeat and energetic vibe of the song is a perfect introduction to the band, and just a taste of what more they have to offer.

a really exciting first taste from king blue with a pretty classic coastal indie sound that a lot of people will find no trouble getting down to.
