Influenced by artists such as Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sublime and Bob Dylan, KINGDOG & THE CATZ uniquely blend the genres of Funk, Soul and Groove. The bands energetic live performances, consisting of catchy songs, infectious vibes and enthusiastic dance floors has them currently making a name for themselves. Based in Kiama, a surfing town on the South Coast of NSW, In 2020 Kingdog and the catz have released 2 singles (The crimes of Life & Soul Riser) ans are due to release their latest single (Lady) on June 19. The band has also successfully toured Melbourne & the East Coast of Australia, performed at festivals including The Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival + The Burradise Festival & received airplay from radio stations such as Byron Bay FM, ABC Illawarra, Vox fm and Triple U fm.
