Bio

Following its online premiere this week, Knightfall release their thumping debut single, 'Speed Machine'.

Evocative of the heady days of mid-late noughties French electro, the track sees the duo explore the darker edges of house, drawing from pioneers of the genre, Daft Punk and Justice.

'Speed Machine' is the first taste of the elusive Melbourne duo's impending EP, set for release later this year. Written, produced and mixed by Knightfall, the track was mastered by industry veteran Mike Marsh (The Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, Cassius, Prodigy, Depeche Mode).

Impressing with their recent bootleg of Q-Tip's 'Breathe and Stop', and with more singles under their belt in the coming months, the anonymous project is set to be filling dancefloors in no time.

This is what I imagine it would sound like if Daft Punk and The Weeknd collaborated. You know... again?

If you like Justice or any good french electro, you'll definitely wanna stomp along to this one.
