Kodiak Empire is a five-piece alt-rock band from Brisbane, bringing many musical flavours together to create a dramatic blend of progressive rock. While over a four-year period the dynamic, sound and lineup of the group may have changed, their intentions have not. Kodiak Empire concocts a harmonious mix of peace and chaos, in an attempt to bring fantasy and personal inquiry to life through sound. After gaining a loyal following in wake of their first release ‘Urashima’, the long awaited second release ‘Silent Bodies’ has finally arrived. The band is eager to display these new compositions upon launching their first-full length release in early August followed by their first East Coast tour.
