Raised by two musician parents, brothers Hillar (vox + bass) and Ashley (drums + SFX) grew up immersed in the language of music. Being able to express themselves freely from a young age, they dabbled in various instruments & genres and played in numerous bands before they found their true voice together as KOVO. Propelled by the success of their first single “A Lullaby”, which rapidly reached no.1 on the Triple J Unearthed charts, they were inspired to write a transfixing live set and throw themselves headfirst into their music. Through gigging around Melbourne at The Corner Hotel, Revolver, The Tote and other venues, they established a loyal fanbase who were spellbound by the intense energy and unique sound that KOVO bring to their live shows.
