Hey I'm Kya, I have a passion for singing and creating music, I started at age 11 training as a classical singer but soon moved on to learn jazz and contemporary vocals. Although I've been recording pop and dance tracks, I like to bring a soulful tone to them which reflects my musical upbringing listening to reggae, jazz and soul on my dad's record player. I taught myself how to play the piano and recorded some demo tracks on my computer which I sent to a top record producer in London, and at the start of 2010 I flew over there to record some tracks. I've just come back after a year of hard work and my dream is to get signed in the new year and i won't stop working until I achieve my goal. :) Kya
