Bio

On paper, Newcastle four-piece La Roma looks as if it appeared out of nowhere. The truth is, La Roma began it’s journey in 2011 when Daniel, Ezekiel and Gareth came together to create a sound that lead them to be invited to support the likes of Lydia (USA), As Tall As Lions (USA) and Ben Jorgensen (Armor for Sleep, USA) on their Australian tours all within 12 months. Due to unforeseen circumstances, in 2012 the guys called hiatus on what was looking like a promising musical career.

Fast forward eight years; now with the talented Hudson Wallace in the drummers chair; La Roma are more passionate than ever to bring their honest and nostalgic sound reminiscent of Jimmy Eat World, Movements and Manchester Orchestra to the world.

After the release of their debut single ‘So Long, Adieu’ in 2020, La Roma are back with their second single, ‘Strangers’ to kick off the new year.

Lots of heart thrown into this one by La Roma. The guitars and energy are wound so tight, like the whole thing will snap at any moment from the tension.
