Formed in late 2016 as an excuse to clank a few tins over distorted music, the Novocastrian Doom Quartet encapsulates a unique concoction of tone through fuzz infused guitars, screaming vocals, and fleeting moments of psychedelia. Lady Petrol is a simultaneous injection of adrenalin mixed with a calming release of serotonin in an auditory personification of schizophrenia. Having the privilege to support the likes of Los Scallywaggs, Ruby Fields, Drunk Mums, and many more, the band have finally released their debut album, "Molecular Melodies". With crunchy guitar riffs, catastrophic drums, and kaleidoscopic sitar licks, the album is a diverging exploration from their first EP "From the Womb to the Tomb", and incorporates an array of influences ranging from The Beatles "Revolver" to the desert sounds of "Blues for the Red Sun" by Kyuss.
