Upon realising that we aren't called "Land Party", people always immediately seem to ask the band, what the name Lan Party really means. Is it a computer term? Is it an acronym relating to the bands work ethic: " Level All Nightly Performances And Reap The Yield"? ... Well unfortunately, even we don't know. Lan Party is a state of mind, something we've built on over the years with various members and eclectic collaborative efforts. Our first CD Apology Unaccepted was received well through online sales, and featured the talents of Mr.Bungle Saxophonist Bar McKinnon. Live shows have consistently been an energetic, raw and unpredictable experience, leaving equipment and sometimes hearts broken. Throughout the coming months Lan Party will be playing solidly throughout Melbourne, as well as touching base with Sydney and Adelaide... We're dropping our anxiously anticipated sophomore effort PERSONAL LOW late November...
