Great shambolic indie pop from four young lads from Brisbane.
Tell us about your music - how did you develop your sound?
For most of the songs so far, i would write all the parts and then record onto garage band for everyone to listen to and learn at home. I grew up all through high school listening to the strokes and slowly discovering new and old bands. the other boys have very similar tastes in music so when they add in their own parts it all works out. my brother and i are the two guitarists, and we always used to jam and learn music. So now when i try write music, he knows exactly what to do for his lead parts.
Last Dinosaurs – philosophical or just a cool name?
The drummer dan and i just thought of it, and it sort of sounded stupidly arrogant and funny so we stuck with it.
What's coming up in the future?
This year hopefully we will get to do a lot of shows around Brisbane and along the east coast. at the end of the year we will all be going to Japan for a while. We are really excited about playing some shows there, it’ll be mental.
Australian music is?
Australian music is predominantly what we listen to, the new and old stuff. There is a lot of awesome music around, especially in Sydney.View Profile Hide Interview
