Bio

Like a gem of graffiti art stumbled upon down an inner city laneway at a late and magical hour, Melbourne band ‘the last five minutes’ offers something unexpected for the weary musical traveller. Lush psychedelic melodies, pop hooks, city slick stories and dark country roots pave a layered musical path with an unusual black folk edging. Fronted by singer/songwriter Paul Copeland, the new lineup includes ex-Sydney bassist Milica Stefanovic, guitarist Simon Mariani and drummer Rob Stewart. Their debut LP “ Go On and Stampede” was recorded mostly live over a weekend in late 2012, and captures the true energy of this unique band. What did you do with your last five minutes? Make art. Not war.

This is more catchy than a dose of the flu! Perfect song for this or any summer - makes you feel like punching the air when those big choruses kick in!
