Laura K Clarke is a Melbourne based singer-songwriter who's passion for music reflects in every aspect of her life. Often likened to a range of musicians she respects and admires including Wendy Matthews, Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell and Jewel, Laura’s folk/pop sound is sweet, soothing and honest. "Do What You Say", the single from Laura's debut EP, was launched to a sold out crowd in September, 2011, at the Wesley Anne in Northcote (Melbourne). The single was immediately well received and has already gained airplay on local radio stations nationally. Laura celebrates the release of the full EP – “Looking For Inspiration” – on Friday April 27th, with a launch gig at The Empress Hotel in Fitzroy North and tours Australia in June to promote it’s release. Currently also playing regular shows around Melbourne and never one to settle with where her music has taken her, Laura is most definitely one to watch in every stage of her musical evolution.
