Layla is a captivating musician and beloved entertainer with a voice of rare beauty and clarity. Layla has performed in the UK and throughout Australia, recording and entertaining live audiences. Layla is distinguished by her melodious vocals, inspired lyrics and backed by a long list of performance credentials. Her musical style is best described as harmonic folk-pop, infused with elements of contemporary pop, jazz and modern acoustic folk music. As a long time singer/songwriter, Layla released her debut album Misinterpretations at age 15 to an overwhelmingly positive critical reception, landing her gigs at The Queensland Music Festival, The Woodford Folk Festival and The Caloundra Music Festival with headline acts such as Kate Miller-Heidke, Jimmy Barnes and Vanessa Amorosi. Layla opened for Comedy group Tripod at Jupiter's Casino on the Gold Coast and performed the Australian Crawl hit “Reckless” live for James Reyne on a Mix FM radio interview.
