Artist:Lesa Godden

Lesa Godden is a versatile composer, musician and guitarist. Hailing from a musical family and growing up in her father’s guitar luthier workshop has provided her with a unique musical foundation and understanding of how it helps to heal and shape people’s lives. Lesa started her musical career by performing in a guitar duo with her father and has been writing her own music and performing since she was 10 years old. As a budding young guitarist, Lesa didn’t like to learn other people’s songs, but she would spend hours at a time playing around with chord progressions, making up melodies on the guitar and exploring the sounds of her instrument in a very organic fashion. Through this independence, and many years of playing across multiple genres and in varied band line-­‐ups.
