Bio

The Letter Elle is the project of Australian musician, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Elle Emery. Drawing influence from a myriad of styles and iconic artists such as MEG MAC, Dua Lipa and Matt Corby, The Letter Elle’s music is a unique fusion of pop-tinged soul. Her high-energy, self-produced tracks feature many layers of bold vocals, neo-soul and R&B instrumentation and catchy melodies that have listeners hooked from the first beat.

Since first emerging as a solo acoustic artist in her hometown of the Sunshine Coast, Australia, Elle has blossomed into a bold, genre-redefining artist with a diverse range of successes. Some highlights have included performing with Regurgitator, Hemingway and Sahara Beck in 2017, being selected to be part of Brisbane City Council’s 2020 QUBE Effect artist development program and touring South East Queensland in late 2020. Recent singles Sunrise and Faithful marked the start of Elle’s self-produced soul direction and received significant praise from tastemakers at TheMusic.com, Music Is My Muse, Emerge Radio and 4ZZZ. Both tracks also received traction on triple j and triple j Unearthed, with ‘Sunrise’ even landing and holding a first place position on the triple j Unearthed ‘Roots’ charts for over three weeks. ‘Sunrise’ also placed #28 in the Emerge Radio Countdown for 2021.

Elle is a powerhouse musician and producer who has carved a spot in the Australian music scene and earned a loyal following from across the country. Her upcoming single Be Your Lady will have you dancing from the first beat - be sure not to miss it when it drops on all streaming platforms on July 16, 2021.

keen to hear elle expand her sound because there's a natural soul and style to her voice.

A hard-hitting, deep in the feels, kind of tune. Powerful as it is an enjoyable listen.
