Eighteen year old Adelaide Hills singer/songwriter, Lillia comes from an artistic family of writers, musicians and actors. Lillia wrote her first song at ten, came third in a National Songwriting Competition and had it published and performed as one of the songs opening the Sydney Music Festival that year. In 2013, she was only one of two female artists out of seven finalists chosen in a talent search from thousands of artists across the country, in line for a music contract with Warner Music Australia. Since then, she's been busy further developing her unique, soulful style performing on the Adelaide live music circuit. Largely influenced by Jazz Greats: Julie London, Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone; and contemporary artists: Melody Gardot, Amy Winehouse and Joss Stone.
