Bio

The Little Stevies have existed as a band for many years and have taken on many incarnations. They started in 2005 as a trio (along with founding member Robin Geradts-Gill), they were a quartet for many years, and their live show currently switches between a duo or a 5-piece! But the steadfast sisters have always been the heart and soul and they continue to write and make music as The Little Stevies. Over the years they’ve toured Australia, Canada and the US extensively and have four releases thus far; two full-length studio albums; Attention Shoppers (2011) and Love Your Band (2009), an EP titled Grow Up released in 2006, and 2013′s live album Most Requested 2009-2012. September 2013 will see the girls release their third studio album Diamonds for Your Teawhich was recorded over 12 months in ‘the spare room’ in between completing a Masters Degree (Beth) and becoming a mother (Byll). It’s been a big year!

It's a bit twee for my usual knuckle-dragging tendencies, but there's no faulting the sunny charm and pitch-perfect harmonies. Set to soothe the savage beast.

To steal Al Newstead's term, this song is indeed 'twee', but for me that's not a bad thing! Probably my favourite of The Little Stevies songs, it's sentimental, it's pretty and it feels like spring! Well worth a listen people.

Sweet and smart pop music from a great band. Sincere, reflective and honest.  So much goodness going on.
