At the age of fourteen I picked up my first guitar, an old, Spanish style, nylon string, acoustic. Being the third oldest of four brothers, its a wonder how the old guitar sat unloved and un-played, for as long as it did. I'm a self-taught musician with the aim of combining percussive and finger style guitar riffs that mesh seamlessly with earnest, honest vocals. My lyrics delve into an array of topics, with an intentional aim at highlighting themes that provoke thought and relay a message or personal experience. I was born and raised in New Zealand, but now reside in the beautiful sunshine-soaked state of Western Australia. Being such a long way from home, music became my avenue of communication to connect and stay in touch with family and friends back home.
