Bio

we are loon lake. the band consists of 3 brothers and two mates. we play music because we find it fun. we have just recorded our demo. its taken a while to get this together as we have always been somewhere else and never really in the same city but now we are and here we are. enjoy.

I work with Ms. Cheek. She's been banging on about Loon Lake. She blasts them whenever I turn down what I'm listening to. She's relentless with her volume knob. Which is OK. Because now I'm a convert.

I love all three songs on here, but this is indeed the highlight and man, it kicks. You guys know your way around a great hook, and even better there's a lack of pretense in your sound. I believe you when you say you play because you love to play. Killer riffs, total heart, down to earth stories... keep it coming.

Love the melody on this, and particularly when you let it all drop away and just rest on that 2/3rd's of the way through. The high notes are scratchy but it makes me like the song even more. Again, real heart, fun and energy going on here. Rad.
