About
The Low-Fi Cowboys is a part time project for singer, songwriter and guitarist Tim Hudspith and bass player James Bosworth. The pair are now playing live with drummer Bruce Campbell. Tim and James played 123 gigs and released four CDs together in Adelaide based nineties guitar band Colourwheel. They played another 77 gigs and released seven more CDs in Goldentone. After playing their 200th show together the pair formed a new act called The Low-Fi Cowboys. The Cowboys released their debut limited edition CD single 'Low' in July 2009 and received airplay on community radio stations across Australia. They released their debut 12 track album ‘Atmosphere’ in early 2013. The Cowboys describe their music as a mixture of guitar pop, indie, shoegazer and alternative country. They are influenced by eighties and nineties guitar bands like The Church, The Triffids, Died Pretty, The Go-Betweens, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Echo and the Bunnymen, My Bloody Valentine, Ride and many more.
