Bio

Melbourne artist Luboku’s auspicious beginnings in late 2014 marked him as one to watch when his co-released EP At Dawn (2014) with New Zealand artist Hosaia amassed over 50,000 streams in its first week of release. With international coverage across Hilly Dilly (Canada), Pause Musicale (France) and Indie Shuffle (USA) all contributing to his early success, Luboku’s first release landed him a spot in the penultimate round of APRA’s 2015 Professional Development Awards.

130,000 streams later, a stack of producer credits (Sean Heathcliffe (Snakadaktal), ORCHA, Liahona) and support slots for Voltaire Twins, Cool Explosions, Noti, Zol Balint and Sean Heathcliffe, Luboku’s long awaited return to the local scene begins with ‘The Surface’ (Single) released in October 2017.

With more singles slated for release throughout the rest of this year and into autumn of 2018, Luboku is only just beginning to scratch the surface.

Oooooft yeah, any RUFUS fan would froth these pulsating beats. What a dark delight.
