Bio

Once starring on Junior Masterchef Australia as a baby-faced 11-year-old, Lucalion (Sam Bradley) has since dropped the spatula and rebranded himself as one of Brisbane’s most promising pop musicians. His unique futurepop-influenced style has seen him become a finalist in Triple J’s RÜFÜS DU SOL Remix Competition in 2019, while his entry in Triple J's #DIYSUPERGROUP challenge in 2020 was also incredibly well-received. Inspired by artists like Wave Racer and Charli XCX, the singer/songwriter and producer is ready to make his presence felt in 2021 with his bright, energetic and colourful sounds.

I was glad to hear that climactic ending because a Lucalion production with out any hypercolour sounds is no Lucalion production at all! Love the way you've integrated those San Cisco drums!

I feel like there's an alternate timeline where this is soundtracking a Dirty Dancing sequel where the leads are slow dancing beneath a neon sky. It's romantic, it's colourful, it's unexpected and special. I love the way that Lucalion and Phoebe take centre stage, using cherry-picked samples to enhance the track rather than take it over.
