Bio

Lucy Korts is a Brisbane based solo acoustic indie folk artist. From small beginnings Lucy’s unique and distinctive vocal style has taken her from singing in the bedroom to the festival stages of Australia.

During 2017 Lucy shared the stage for the Carnival of Flowers with the likes of Alex Lahey, The Paper Kites & The Temper Trap. Since gaining recognition through her performance she has been playing to the crowds of Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay & all the way back to Toowoomba. Lucy recently joined forces with Woodfordia to open for Madison Violet during the festival of Small Halls Australia.

After the recent and successful launch of her debut EP ‘All My Love’ Korts has gained recognition through radio stations such as Triple J Unearthed, 4ZZZ & other top broadcasting networks including publicity through music blogs such as Emerge Radio & Music Is My Muse.
Lucy’s dedication to honing her songwriting craft will carry her high throughout 2019. Korts will continue to set the tone for shooting soft and equally as strong releases into the eyes (and ears) of Australia’s music scene.

“It's so rare that you find a fully formed artist and you are a total diamond in the rough. Love this. Love you. Love everything”. Nkechi Anele (Triple J)

“All My Love showcases Lucy Korts’ raw talent and passion in a short, but memorable jewel of a debut in an underappreciated genre”. - Calen Le Couteur (Emerge Radio)

Love this. Love you. Love everything.
It's so rare that you find a fully formed artist and you are a total diamond in the rough from the songwriting to the uniqueness of your vocals (which I'm assuming is the country influence), I enjoyed this track through and through.
