The Luke Louie Trio The Luke Louie Trio are an Adelaide based Blues/Rock band made up of Michael Cherry (Bass), Angus Mason (Drums) and Luke Louie (Guitar/Vocals). Forming in early 2014, the band began playing a collection of tunes Luke had written in past years while playing in the backline of other original groups around Adelaide. After some time perfecting the tunes and their unique sound the trio began performing shows and getting their name around the Adelaide original music scene. The group base their sound on many different styles of music from the excitement of Chicago Electric blues to the intimate sounds of Amy Winehouse, Paolo Nutini or Paul Kelly. Making the music true to itself and true to its influences has always been and always will be a high priority of the trio.
