Bio

Melbourne's Luke Seymoup wears many guises: Godfather of Punk'n'B, Badman, Ukulele Enthusiast, Herald of the Fourth Wave of Ska. He performed in Melbourne bands for over a decade before releasing his first solo record, The Professional, in 2017.

Since then, Luke has been prolific releasing 3 EPs and two standalone singles between 2018 and 2019. These include the all-ukulele record "Uke Seymoup", Ska-Opera "Burnett Street" and the Nintendo-Punk concept album "Poke'Gods". His collaborative single with Lisa De Angelis, "Hand-Me-Downs" passed 50,000 plays on Spotify in less than 6 months.

Taking influence from both his background in Punk Rock and a passion for singer-songwriters such as Bruce Springsteen and Paul Kelly; Luke's songwriting covers everything from fast-paced Punk Rock to slow, sombre ballads to rollicking Ska.

You'd probably like Luke Seymoup if you got to know him... You might not either but that's no reflection on the music he makes.

They've been hiding Luke and his talents for writing zippy guitar tracks in a bunker at Area 51, so glad he got out.

Luke's always packed full of energy to munch on. This one's big scoop-after-big-scoop.
