Bio

Early this century, 7 misfit tinker kids from 7 different country towns wandered into the heart of Brisbane's West End. Nurturing a mutual desire to 're-shape the sound of this midnight-mainstream' Luna Junction have taken to the cafes and market places, helping spark the growing fire that is the Brisbane 'Gypsy-Folk' scene. Now a tight 7 piece/juggling act, Luna Junction are filling the space between pop and folk.

Wow. From start to finish this track is a real stunner. It is melodically beautiful with some bite and dash and would be the perfect opener at a major live Performing Arts event. Wow. From start to finish this track is a real stunner. It is melodically beautiful with some bite and dash and would be the perfect opener at a major live Performing Arts event. It is uplifting with an edge of excitement. The arrangement is an artistic triumph with striking results. The lovely, lively melodic result is due to the clever choice of ensemble and its instrumental input with orchestral effect. The pace is perfect and the genre incorporates different elements and style including Jazz which shows versatility. My only qualm is the the vocals are largely lost and consists of lovely glimpses of a beautiful voice which needs to be heard. Very nice work. (Michele Boylan)
