Bio

It’s rare to uncover an artist with a world-class voice and an unmistakably authentic sound to match. Australian singer and songwriter Luna Vexa, is exactly that and more. Her vocals are an alluring combination of seductive and airy whispers, to a sky-bending, powerful belt few possess. Vexa’s signature infuses oceans of angelic harmonies, hard-hitting and moody soundscapes filled with dreamy textures. Unquestionably captivating from the second she steps on stage, LUNA is an electrifying performer who exceeds the conventional expectations of pop singers, leaving her in a league of her own.

Diving into the depth of her lyrics, Luna always speaks from an honest and vulnerable place, ‘My music is my soul free in sound-waves.’ From being on the street at nineteen, trapped in several abusive relationships to battling physical and mental health conditions, she has proven time and again she is tough as nails. Only two months into 2019, Vexa crowdfunded her debut album King of Eve and reached her goal in just six days, exceeding the original amount and landing over $9,000. Her fans are fiercely loyal, there is a constant demand for new music to be released. For an independent artist, this is beyond exceptional and just scrapes the surface of her incredibly resilient work ethic.

In early 2018 Luna’s first EP Bad was released and has been streamed more than 100,000 times internationally, peaking in popularity on Australian and US radio. Her first show as a solo artist was crammed with fans from all over Australia, some flying interstate to be present at the launch.

Vexa recently featured on “BIPOLAR” - under her previous title LUNA - a pop collaboration with ThatBehavior and renowned Los Angeles DJ’s BEAUZ who were recently signed to Universal Music. Within the first week of being released, Spotify had featured the song on ten New Music Friday’s around the world and seventeen editorial playlists, helping the pop tune hit a staggering 1,000,000 streams in counting.

That voice is titanic and this song is an incredibly strong first offering. There's a real backbone to production and lyrics both.

You have a strong voice and you've delivered that well against this dark pop production.
