Bio

LUUNG is a project by independent writer and producer Bailey Jeffs. The Sunshine Coast based 22 year old writes and records everything in his spare room. LUUNG started writing music in early 2017 and has since released 2 Ep’s and is anticipating the release of a 3rd.
This 3rd Ep propels the evolution of LUUNG, adopting a combination of DIY production techniques and lush melodic components to shape his new sound. It is beat driven and dynamic, but still allows space for his love of guitar and delicate vocals. LUUNG found security in making these songs throughout 2020 and drew on the inspiration of local Brisbane artists Golden Vessel and Vancouver Sleep Clinic. This inspiration challenged LUUNG to also attempt to mix his own work for the first time, keeping it fully DIY.
Over the years LUUNG has had the opportunity to self fund and direct 2 music videos, utilising his existing skills/connections in the film making space.
As the LUUNG project grows the artist hopes to shine a light on the often overlooked Sunshine Coast music scene, to support the growth of other pop/indie artists and to glean off of the sound that Brisbane is becoming so well known for.

Loved this entry into the DIY Supergroup challenge. LUUNG and Isabel Wood are perfect together, nailing this wilting modern pop sound.

i'm a sucker for a duet and the way you both pull on the heart strings feels super genuine and it had me spellbound.
