Bio

Lux N.R.M. is the new project from Natalie Rachel Moss, who glimpsed a moment of recognition when Triple J’s Richard Kingsmill introduced her as the crooning front woman of Siamese Almeida back in 2013 (https://soundcloud.com/siamese-almeida).

Moss returns after a musical hiatus - hitting her stride as a budding pop songwriter and producer. She prefers a DIY approach and works from an intimate garage/bedroom in Sydney's Inner West.

New single Snakebones, is about that heady, heightened, frantic and additive kind of love that is as much pleasure as it is pain. Its about the fragility of a love built on the lies we tell ourselves, to convince ourselves that the love will last.

Snakebones is written by Lux NRM and produced by Dave Hammer (Megan Washington, Thundamentals).

Lux NRM has recently performed for the Commune warehouse Open Day and as part of the line up for Sydney Psych Fest. Details on upcoming gigs around Sydney soon.

Lux NRM has also penned tracks for local webseries Jade of Death and short film Disco Dykes, (currently on SBS Demand) with further soundtrack work in the pipeline.

I get a huge 90's vibe from this. Perfect for a teen movie soundtrack. Think bands like Garbage and The Cardigans. I love the way your vocals bury, that synth and that deep bass sound in production. It stands out. I have so much time for this! Welcome back.
