Australia's one-man-garbage-blues-band, MADE FOR CHICKENS BY ROBOTS plays resonator guitar, bangs a suitcase drum and icecream cans with his feet, commands a choir of Australian farm animals, and mumbles incomprehensible rubbish through a bullhorn loudhailer. MADE FOR CHICKENS BY ROBOTS’s first show was in an overheated little bar in Belgium in June 2005. Since then the road has taken him to the basement of a revivalist church in the redlight district of Antwerp, a beach party on the Sardinian islands, a crematorium in Berlin, and abandoned warehouses in Melbourne. He's performed throughout Europe a few times and in most holes in around Australia . In 2006 MADE FOR CHICKENS BY ROBOTS released three pieces of independent fried music, a cassette “Washtub Mull”, a cd-r “Hong Kong”, and “The Wrong Brain” cd. 2007 saw the release of the debut long-player, "MoMo Hokey" on New Zealand's Stink Magnetic Records, 15 tracks of itchy stuff cutting in at around 20 minutes and lauded as "broken ...
