Artist:Madeline Vida

Madeline Vida grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. At an early age it was clear that she was a young performer, which was inevitable having a father as a blues musician. At the age of 6 her older sister sat her down and begun to teach her harmonies at the piano, from then on it was clear that she had an unconditional love for music. She was writing structured songs from the age of 11, and it was only on the 1st of February 2013 at 19 years of age, Madeline Vida released her first single 'Wolves. Her eccentric personality and sarcastic humour comes through in her lyrics so clearly and is told with such an ease and beauty. Her voice powerful and yet vulnerable allows her to explore a wide range of styles, this is contrasted with her striking melodies and imposing drums.
