Bio

With influences that are broad and inclusive of many genres, Majak Door combine a mixture of surf-rock, 60's
psychedelia and dream pop to produce the wavy, tropical lo-fi sound that the band are known for.

The first seeds of Majak Door were planted by founding members Frankie Smay and Ronny Calladine, who later onboarded
guitarist Louie in 2019 and drummer Joe in 2019, and as they prepare to expand to five members with the inclusion of Joe Oliver on keys/synth, Majak Door have also juiced things
up on the live side, with the addition of 6th member Max Sabbatini on Congas, putting together a live show that gets down to business.

2019 has proved to be a notable year for Majar Door, with the release their first single of the year 'Daisies', a dreamy
laid-back lo-fi number that also allowed the band to go on their first interstate tour in support of the single release,
traveling up to NSW to make debuts in Canberra, Wollongong, Sydney and Newcastle.

The band is stoked to be touring the east coast again in November 2019, full band, full steam ahead!

it's soaked in rainbow reverb and one that you can imagine is a total escape live.

Like the dreamy tones that Majak Door brush across this track but even more than that I like the unseen current that gives this track some compelling energy. It's somewhere there in the mix just tugging at your headies and making you want to explore the track with repeat listens.

No matter what challenge or troubles you might be facing in your life right now, let yourself be free for the next few minutes with this sweet one. It's one to lay back, daze out to and fully immersive yourself in. It's got some nice intricacy to it. The gorgeous jangly, dream pop sounds is a delight. It's a got a good feel to it.
