Makaw is my musical place where I get lost. Inspired by electronic landscapes and the want to tell the naked truth, this project finds its home somewhere between the sound worlds of Portishead, Feist, Thom Yorke and Lykke Li. Songwriting for me is diving into what lies below the surface of everyday and telling those stories. It is a place for desire, the truth and for what really drives us. It is these stories and finding a sonic home to match them that has inspired and continues to propel me to create.
