Artist:Mako

Mako are a 4 piece band from the Mornington Peninsula. All members come from diverse music backgrounds, bringing together a combination of a range of styles and influences including reggae, folk, funk, pop, rock, a small amount of jazz and chill. Formed in the late months of 2009, the band started out in the early days as Michael&Chris, but soon Chris Bullard joined on bass guitar and Adam Morris on drums. In July 2010 in Adam's absence to complete his studies overseas, Nathan Lomas joined the band, incorporating his intricate drumming skills into our self recorded demos which we undertook in a bungalow in the Bullard’s backyard. We have since completed our first demo CD. Our songs all hold strong influence and meaning, which is fueled by our passion for playing music and expression as a band. Mako took a short break for a few months to go our own ways but eventually paths crossed again music was to be made once more !
